We came into 2020 with our largest and most fun wedding season ever planned. Then COVID hit and all of our couples had to pivot. Most rebooked until 2021 but a few remained and drastically changed their plans.
Janelle and Tony were our first pandemic wedding, and it was simply amazing. They drastically reduced their guest list and Tony, who is from the UK and has friends and family all over the world, was unable to have his family and best mate here.
However, thanks to technology their family and friends from all over the world joined in. Masks were worn. Formals were distanced. But at the end of the day, these two amazing people were married and surrounded by love.
The Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine was the perfect location to get ready. A friends back yard in Owls Head made for a gorgeous ceremony venue. Robin Lane Music performed beautifully. Seasons Downeast Designs created stunning florals. Primo Restaurant created the perfect intimate yet physically distanced space with impeccable service, and the food was both beautiful and so flavorful. The Music Man DJ Service delivered a fabulous play list for dinner and then a couple of special dances. And the icing on the cake for us was getting to work along side Two Adventurous Souls – Photo & Video as they captured the day on video.
Janelle and Tony proved last weekend that love is not cancelled, and weddings can be safe, intimate, and special during this time.Thank you both for trusting us to capture this day for you. We are so thankful to have been just a small part. We wish you both unending love, laughter, and adventures together!
